Washing and Care Instructions
All the products at Aykez are already pre-washed, so it rules cloth shrinkage, or fading of the color when washed. This top can be equally machine-washed or hand-washed without any issue of ironing.

It is a very strong fabric that allows any design to style and fashion on it. It is one of those few fabrics that are preferable for every season. It complements every occasion.
Steps in the completion of the Chikankari on the fabric :-
1) Block Printing – The initial phase where the design is made on the cloth of choice. The cloth is cut according to the garment it will form and using multiple wooden block stamps, designs are imprinted in blue ink on to the fabric.There will be different blocks for butis, floral patterns and borders.
2)Embroidery work– The embroidery is done over the printed design pattern using needle and thread.
3) Time Period of Handmade– It took 2 to 3 months for the product to be handcrafted from designing to finishing.
This traditional art of Lucknow is revived making Chikankari :- The Chikan Hand Embroidered work was initially done on white yarn known as tanzeb. Though embroidery has evolved with time it still remains delicate, intricate and graceful. The chikan garment goes through the production process anywhere between one to six months. The fabric is cut in the desired shape, followed by pre-embroidery work to get the desired shape of the embroidery. After printing the design on the semi-stitched garment the embroidery is begun. This is followed by a quality check. The garment is washed in a bhatti, dried and finished! There are in all 36 stitching techniques involved in Chikankari.
